The Crags Colorado gets its name from the rock formations that you will see along this trail. The majority of the Crags trail is easy, with just a slight altitude gain except for in the very beginning and the end. At the end of the trail there are some large rocks that you will be hiking up but it is worth it since the views at the very top are beautiful. Round trip this trail takes approximately 1.5-3.5 hours depending on your pace and how long you stay at the top. For most of the trail you’ll be walking along side a small creek in an open field!
